Its appeal is simple: get off at whichever station catches your eye, take photos, duck into a shop that interests you. What Is Noriorikun?

"Noriorikun" is a one-day pass that lets you board and get off the Enoden as many times as you like, at any station, all day long. Shops and facilities along the line also offer small perks and discounts just for showing the pass. For me, the real appeal of this ticket was the freedom to get off wherever caught my eye, snap a few photos, or wander through an interesting-looking neighborhood — a different kind of Kamakura and Enoshima walk than you'd get with a regular ticket.

Price, How to Buy It & Where It's Valid

You can buy Noriorikun on the spot from any Enoden ticket machine. Since machines are usually installed even at unstaffed stations, you don't have to start from Fujisawa or Kamakura — you can pick one up from a station partway along the line too.

Price

800 yen for adults, 400 yen for children. It's a flat rate across the entire line, regardless of which stations or stretches you actually ride.

How to Buy It

Paper tickets are available from vending machines at every Enoden station, as well as front desks at some partner hotels and ryokan around Kamakura and Fujisawa. If you have a smartphone, you can also buy it as a digital ticket through the "EMot" app, the "EMot Online Ticket" website, or the contactless credit-card payment app "Pass Case."

It covers the entire Enoden line (Fujisawa Station to Kamakura Station, all 15 stations). It's valid only on its date of issue.

What to Know Before Buying & Using It

If you're planning to spend a full day around Kamakura and Enoshima, I think this pass is well worth the price. Getting on and off at whichever station catches your eye while taking photos along the way is a kind of freedom you just don't get with a regular ticket.
During major holidays and weekends in peak travel season, though, the Enoden gets seriously crowded. Being a cute, single-track line with small cars is a double-edged sword — its carrying capacity isn't huge. It's not unusual to wait on a platform and find you can't squeeze onto the train, forcing you to wait for the next one. Since this pass is built around getting on and off repeatedly, it's worth keeping in mind that hitting a heavily crowded stretch could make it harder to use as freely as planned, and potentially harder to get your money's worth.
