The hardest one? Definitely the one outside the park.
Where to Smoke at Tokyo Disneyland — A Complete Guide by Location
1) Smoking Area in Adventureland (Near Jungle Cruise)
There is a designated smoking area on the left side as you approach the Jungle Cruise attraction in Adventureland.
Do you see the sign straight ahead? That’s your first clue.
Keep walking straight and you’ll see a directional sign with an arrow pointing toward the smoking area.
Follow the arrow and turn left.
With the Jungle Cruise queue on your right, you’ll soon notice a wooden fence on the left. That’s your path.
Walk along the narrow path for about 15–20 meters, surrounded by rustic log fencing.
2) Smoking Area in Westernland (Near Big Thunder Mountain)
The area around Big Thunder Mountain is always bustling with people.
To reach the smoking area, you’ll need to make your way through the crowd and head further back.
Walk past the white building labeled TOWN HALL.
It has nothing to do with the smoking area, but it’s a fun detail!
As you walk alongside the Big Thunder Mountain queue, keep an eye out for signs.
Eventually, you’ll see a sign directing you to the smoking area.
The smoking area is on your right.
It’s about half the size of the smoking area near the Adventureland Jungle Cruise,
but the Westernland theme gives it a unique charm that still feels magical.
and ended up with a blurry shot!
3) Smoking Area Outside the Park (Bus Terminal West)
This smoking area is located outside Tokyo Disneyland, near the Bus Terminal West.
It's a considerable walk from the park entrance, so it's not usually practical for guests already inside the park.
However, it can be convenient for guests who have already exited the park, those parked in nearby lots, or bus drivers waiting in the area.
Interestingly, even when you arrive at the terminal, there aren’t any obvious signs pointing to the smoking area.
It might feel a little uncertain at first, but continue walking toward the back.
Once you reach the very back and look to your left, you’ll finally spot the sign for the smoking area.
Here is the entrance to the smoking area.
Open the door and you’ll find two ashtrays inside.
It’s usually quiet and underutilized, making it somewhat of a hidden gem.
Compared to the three in-park smoking areas, it’s smaller, but it appears newly built and well-maintained.
Enjoy a peaceful moment looking out from the smoking area, bathed in soft sunlight through the doorway.
4) [Closed] Smoking Area Near Space Mountain in Tomorrowland
The smoking area in Tomorrowland was once located between Space Mountain and the blue wall of Tomorrowland Hall.
However, it was permanently removed around spring 2025, likely due to ongoing construction at Space Mountain.
In 2024, you could still see a sign between Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Hall.
Inside the smoking area, guests could relax in a slightly futuristic and pop-themed environment — a nice match for Tomorrowland.
